Synopsis: |
Dr. Paavo Ylönen (Hannu-Pekka Björkman) is a member of a small but exclusive gourmet club. The five upper-class members of the club take turns providing the main course, always made with an exotic ingredient. All the members wager money, and the person who correctly guesses the basis of the mystery meal wins the pot. If nobody guesses right, the person who offers the meal wins. The only rule is that the ingredient cannot kill or poison the members. Things get interesting when Dr. Ylönen´s gambling problem catches up with him, leaving him in debt to his friends, the bank and worst of all, a vicious loan shark. Desperate, he comes up with the idea to use a mystery ingredient nobody would ever think of. While he wins the pot that night, he gets more than he bargained for, as the members find that the mystery meal has had a powerful effect on them. They demand more.
