Pirjo Honkasalo´s new documentary film in Leipzig

Ito - A Diary of an Urban Priest (Seitti – kilvoittelijan päiväkirja), the new documentary film by the award-winning director Pirjo Honkasalo will have its official international premiere in the International Competition of Documentary Films at DOK Leipzig International Festival for Documentary and Animated Films in Germany (Oct 26 – Nov 1), arranged since 1955.
Also The Living Room of the Nation (Kansakunnan olohuone) by Jukka Kärkkäinen has been invited to the International Competition of Documentary Films at DOK Leipzig. Between Dreams by Iris Olsson is screened in the International Young Talent Competition – Generation DOK section. Both films have been screened earlier at several international film festivals.
Ito – A Diary of an Urban Priest is produced by Kristiina Pervilä / Millennium Film. The Living Room of the Nation is produced by Sami Jahnukainen / Mouka Filmi, international sales are handled by Deckert Distribution. Between Dreams is produced by Mirumir, Moviement and Nisi Masa.
