Three Finnish films at Cairo International Film Festival

The class A international film festival in Cairo, Egypt, has invited this year as many as three Finnish films: Forbidden Fruit (Kielletty hedelmä) by Dome Karukoski, Letters to Father Jacob (Postia pappi Jaakobille) by Klaus Härö and Thomas by Miika Soini.

All three titles have been invited already to numerous film festivals. International awards have been given to Forbidden Fruit in Portugal and Austria and to Thomas in Turkey, France, Russia and Hungary. Letters to Father Jacob is Finland´s official entry for Foreign Language Film Oscar.
