First prize to Recipes for Disaster by John Webster in Armenia

Recipes for Disaster (Katastrofin aineksia) by John Webster has won the first prize in the section Best Environmental Educational Film at the SunChild International Environmental Festival in Yerevan, Armenia (October 25 – 29, 2009).
Earlier in October, it got a special mention in the international documentary competition of the12th CinemAmbiente – International Environmental Film Festival in Torino, Italy (October 6 – 17, 2009).
During the first half of the year 2009, Recipes for Disaster was travelling at more international film festivals than any other Finnish film (by October, over 25 accepted festival invitations). It has earlier been awarded in Sweden, Poland and South Korea.
Recipes for Disaster is produced by Kristiina Pervilä / Millennium Film. International sales are handled by Deckert Distribution.
