Director

Kaisa Rastimo

Director Kaisa Rastimo was one the few female directors in Finland during the 1990s and early 2000s. She has directed both documentary and fiction films which have traveled to festivals, and some of them have been box office hits. Rastimo got fed up with the misogyny prevailing in the film business and quit making films for many years. Nasrin’s Voice is her first film in fifteen years.
