The Last Misfits of the Golden River

Maa

Details

In Lapland, far away from roads and telephone networks, lives the last gold miner community of Finland. Among them are 80-year-old Rami, golf-loving Pekka and a small boy, Nils-Emil. Their peaceful lives are filled with the rumble of machines and quietness of nature, but everything changes when a new mining law forces them to abandon their way of life. They will experience a probable end of their world, but despite everything, they maintain their philosophy: life can be both funny and sad.
