Surveillance and security of the Finnish Film Foundation’s property.

6. DATA CONTENT OF THE REGISTER

Camera surveillance

  • video footage (persons and vehicles)
  • date and time of the event
  • camera location

Access control

  • name or identifier
  • access rights information
  • entries and exits (time + place)

7. REGULAR DATA SOURCES

  • camera surveillance system (image recordings)
  • access control system (log-in data)

8. DATA STORAGE DURATION

  • camera surveillance recordings: 15–60 days
  • access control logs: 2 years

Data is retained for a longer period only if:

  • it is needed for an investigation or legal claim

9. REGULAR DATA RELEASES

Personal data stored in the register is disclosed to authorities in the manner permitted and required by applicable legislation, where such authorities have a statutory right to obtain data from the register, such as the police or other authorities, and to an insurance company in cases of damage or loss.

10.TRANSFERRING DATA OUTSIDE THE EU OR THE EEA

Personal data contained in the register is not disclosed or transferred outside the European Union or the European Economic Area.

11. GUIDELINES FOR REGISTER SECURITY

Camera surveillance and access control data is protected by means including firewalls, protection of physical equipment facilities, access control, user rights and encryption technologies, as well as active monitoring.

Digitally stored and processed data is held in files protected by firewalls, passwords and other technical means. The data is located in facilities monitored around the clock.

Access control and image data is processed only by persons employed by the Finnish Film Foundation who are authorised to do so in the course of their work. Processors authenticate themselves in the systems using a personal user ID and password.

12. RIGHT OF ACCESS

In accordance with Sections 26–28 of the Personal Data Act, individuals have the right to access the data concerning them that has been stored in the register. Requests for access must be sent in writing and signed to the following address:
