Void, directed by Aleksi Salmenperä, will have its international premiere at the competition of the Moscow Film Festival. The film, which reflects the life of a writer-actor couple, won four Finnish national film awards last month, including best picture and director.

The head of the jury this year is the Korean filmmaker Kim Ki-duk. Finnish actor Maria Järvenhelmi is also in the jury.

Stupid Young Heart, by director Selma Vilhunen and screenwriter Kirsikka Saari, is in the section Time of Women. The film premiered last year in Toronto and won the Crystal Bear in Berlinale last February.

For several years now, The Finnish Film Foundation has invited a delegation of Finnish film producers to Russia. The producers will acquaint themselves with the Russian film industry and make connections with Russian filmmakers.
