Void and The Ragged Life of Juice Leskinen soared at the Finnish national film awards
 
            Void, directed by Aleksi Salmenperä, won four Jussi awards including best picture. Salmenperä and his editor Samu Heikkilä also received the new Nordisk Film Award, worth 20,000 euros, for their contribution to Finnish cinema.
Star Shaped Scar by Vuokko Kunttu and Virva Kunttu was named best short film, and Virpi Suutari’s Entrepreneur won best documentary.
The lifetime achievement award Betoni-Jussi was given to actor Hannele Lauri, known for her diverse roles in film and TV, especially in comedy.
The audience award went to My Brother’s Keeper by J-P Siili.
The Jussi Awards are given by Filmiaura since 1944.
