Hannu-Pekka Vitikainen

Hannu-Pekka Vitikainen studied philosophy and journalism before receiving his BA in cinematography from ELO Film School in 2003. Since 2000, he has worked in the Finnish film industry in various positions: cinematographer, producer, screenwriter and director. 

In 2005, Vitikainen established the production company Zone2 Pictures. The Finnish-Belgian-German co-production Gods of Molenbeek, produced by Vitikainen directed by Reetta Huhtanen, went to more than 50 international film festival (incl. Visions du Réel, Hot Docs) and won the Finnish Jussi film award for best documentary.
