Anni Asikainen to join the International Department
Asikainen starts on August 3, 2026.

The International Department of the Finnish Film Foundation has appointed Anni Asikainen as International Promotion Advisor for feature films.
Asikainen has a Master’s Degree from the University of Edinburgh where she studied Film, Exhibition and Curation. She has previously worked at the Finnish Film Foundation as International Promotion Advisor and Production Coordinator, as well as at Cork International Film Festival and Finnish Film Affair in various positions.
Asikainen rejoins the Foundation on August 3, 2026. Her duties will include preparing Travel Support and Material & Marketing Support decisions as well as festival strategies for feature films.
