General booking terms and conditions
Booking terms and conditions
The booking must be made and confirmed in writing well before the desired date of the event. On weekday rentals, this means approximately two weeks in advance; in evening and weekend rentals, approximately three weeks. Booking enquiries are processed within about a week from their arrival.
To ensure speedy processing, make sure your booking enquiry has detailed information on the event. The nature of the event, schedule, number of participants and other possible technical needs are agreed upon in advance. To book the cinema, fill out the cinema rental form.
The cinema rental includes the use of the cinema auditorium and lobby, as well as the scheduled screening of predetermined materials by the cinema personnel, provided they are sent in time.
The event organizer is responsible for the organizing of the event and the expenses related to it, including program, catering, doorkeeper and the necessary governmental permits.
The materials you want to screen/display must be delivered at least two (2) weekdays before the event using the link provided with the booking confirmation. For evening and weekend rentals at least seven (7) weekdays before the event.
The space can be used upon agreement and is billed according to the confirmed rental time. See price list. The scheduled time must include the entire time spent in the premises (cinema auditorium and lobby). If the event goes overtime the hourly cost of the technician is added in the bill and the additional time is charged from every starting 30 minutes.
The space is rented with its basic furniture. Altering the furniture and decorating the space as well as restoring the space to its original state are included in the rental time. The use of the kitchen and the counter are agreed upon separately according to a price list.
Use of the equipment and utensils in the catering area are not included in the rental. Additional services are charged extra.
The event organizer must commit to making ecological choices as they are planning the event and recycling during the event.
Entrance and exit are through the Kino K13 main doors on Katajanokanlaituri 11 A. Please note that the other facilities in the Finnish Film Foundation’s building are not available during the rental.
Evening and weekend rentals must be confirmed by 10 weekdays before the event. Weekday rentals must be confirmed by five (5) weekdays before the event. Kino K13 reserves the right to remove all bookings that are not confirmed in due time and those bookings where the organizer has not delivered the materials in time. Technician is added to rentals that are booked less than five (5) days before the event.
Half of the agreed price is charged for evening and weekend rentals that are cancelled less than 10 days before the event, and in all rentals, the full price is charged for cancellations taking place less than two (2) days before the event.
