CEO Lasse Saarinen named as the Chair of the Board of the Nordisk Film & TV Fond

The Nordic Council of Ministers has appointed Lasse Saarinen, the CEO of The Finnish Film Foundation, as the Chairperson of the Board of the Nordisk Film & TV Fond for a period of three years, 2020–2022.

Founded in 1990, the Nordisk Film & TV Fond is an important film and TV financer in the Nordic region. It is funded by 22 partners, including The Nordic Council of Ministers, five national film institutes (incl. The Finnish Film Foundation) and 16 public service and private broadcasters within the region. The Nordisk Film & TV Fond is headed by CEO Liselott Forsman since last fall.
