Finnish Film Foundation’s Facts & Figures 2024 statistical publication brings together the most important statistics on the Foundation’s support activities, film production, distribution, and exhibition, as well as gender equality.
Last year, Finnish Film Foundation handed out close to 23.5 million euros in support. Facts & Figures 2024 shows how the support is divided among support types and genres.
Average budget for Finnish feature films was under 2.4 million euros, of which 31% was covered by the Finnish Film Foundation’s support. The budget for documentary films was under 274,000 euros, with 51% covered by the Foundation’s support.
