Soap Fever and The Beauty of Errors in Competition at Thessaloniki
Two minority co-productions backed by the Foundation were also selected to the Greek festival.

Thessaloniki International Documentary Film Festival takes place March 5–15, 2026. The International Competition is Oscar-qualifying and the main award comes with a 12,000-euro cash prize.

The Beauty of Errors / Mouka Filmi
Two Finnish films are among the 14 films selected to the International Competition:
- Soap Fever, directed Inka Achté, shows how The Bold and the Beautiful became a cultural phenomenon in Finland of the 1990s, in the midst of an economic collapse. The film is produced by napafilms.
- The Beauty of Errors, directed by Jukka Kärkkäinen, explores the evolving bond between a father and son. The film is produced by Mouka Filmi.
Two minority co-productions premiere in the Newcomers Competition:
- The Smuggler, directed by Sylvelin Måkestad, Finnish co-producer: Mouka Filmi / Sweden, Finland, Norway
- In Cod We Trust, directed by Guro Saniola Bjerk, Finnish co-producer: Wacky Tie Films / Norway, Sweden
