Dome Karukoski

(b. 1976, Cyprus) is is one of Finland’s most internationally-known directors. In 2013, he was on Variety’s 10 Directors to Watch list. His films have been a success both critically and at the box office. He has been nominated for the Jussi award for best director with six of his feature films, winning the award twice. In 2019, Karukoski made his Hollywood debut with the biopic Tolkien which was distributed by Fox Searchlight Pictures.
