Seven Finnish films to compete in Nordisk Panorama

One of the key events for Nordic documentary and short films, Nordisk Panorama takes place September 18–23, 2025, in Malmö, Sweden.

In the Borderland, written and directed by Elina Hyvärinen, will have its international premiere in the New Nordic Voice competition. The film follows life in Parikkala, a small town in Eastern Finland, near the Russian border, after the Russian attack on Ukraine. The film is produced by Mina Laamo for Koko Production.
